• Domestic violence knows no barriers; it occurs regardless of age, income, ability/disability, education, sexual orientation, race, culture, faith, or social class.
  
  
• One-third to one-fourth of all women will experience domestic violence at some point in their lives.
  
  
• 95% of domestic violence occurs against women.
  
  
• About one in five MA high school students have been or will be involved in an abusive relationship.
